Newquay’s best bars and pubs

by Jeffa

After a day soaked in sand and surf, what better way to refresh yourself than cracking open a cold one and sharing stories from your session. Whilst most of the places listed in our restaurant guide we’d recommend for drinks, here we’ve listed some stand out beverage spots, particularly if a coastal view comes included.

Fistral Beach Bar

If you find yourself wanting to hang on for a drink after eating at the Stable or Rick Stein then you can head downstairs to Fistral Beach Bar. The Beach Bar offers a vibrant atmosphere, especially on weekends and offers the best spot to catch the sunset. There’s parking at North Fistral making it easily accessible. They also host regular live music events!

Best for: Outdoor seating, sunset views, lively atmosphere

Location: North Fistral Beach, Newquay (Parking available at North Fistral)
