Inspired by the Yoga classes on our Surf Sistas retreats, we will be live streaming pre and post-surf style Yoga sessions straight to your front room every weekend!
WEEKEND CLASSES
SATURDAYS – 10am (BST) – Rise & Shine, a Slow Flow Vinyasa Class
Saturdays are for keeping the stoke! Saturday mornings will be a ‘Rise & Shine’ slow flow vinyasa class. This will be a fun and mindful breath led practice focusing on moving the body to release tension and of course help build strength and mobility, so as you are ready for when we can get back in the water!
SUNDAYS – 6pm (BST) – Pyjama Yin, a restorative Yin Class
Sundays will be a super relaxing Yin and Restorative class. Here the stillness of the body and focus on the breath will bring about some much needed deep relaxation at the end of the week. This practice with its supported postures, held longer, will reduce cortisol, the stress hormone in the body and work deeper into the body. During this practise the ‘rest and digest’ parasympathetic nervous system dominates. This enables deep rest, healing and regeneration to occur; the body stores energy and performs the functions of digestion, detoxifying and building immunity.. especially helpful for the time we are in.
Classes include a combination of; asana, pranayama, mudras, Vedic chanting, meditation and relaxation.
HOW TO JOIN
Email us and we will send you the log in details for the upcoming weekend classes.
To join us all you need is a laptop or phone, some wifi, and a space to put down your Yoga mat (or towel/sarong) and our Yogi Mel will bring the class to you in your home.
The classes are hosted on the free Zoom platform so please download this onto your lap top or phone ahead of the class.
Please note you can choose to have your video turned off if you prefer so that you can watch the class but noone can see you, you can also choose to have your audio muted. Mel will mute everyones microphones during the class.

These classes are donation based so that every Sista can join us irrespective of your situation at this time.
If you are able (please do not worry if you aren’t) we recommend a donation of £5 per class and this can be made via paypal we will send you the donation link with the class log in details.
If you would like to donate for multiple classes at once to see yourself through the next few weeks thats also no problem.
